What are Veneers and What Do They Do?

Veneers are tiny pieces of porcelain, only about a millimeter thick, designed to be placed over the front of a tooth for a quick, painless cosmetic restoration.

Veneers are not one-size-fits-all. Rather, each one is carefully crafted and custom-designed to not only restore your smile but to properly and perfectly match your unique facial features! There are many cosmetic restorations that veneers may be used for, including:

  • Chips & Cracks
  • Gaps or Crooked Teeth
  • Teeth of Irregular Shapes or Sizes
  • Discoloration
Am I a Candidate for Veneers?

As with any treatment provided here at the Center for Smiles, we highly recommend you visit us for a consultation so our team of experts can properly assess your current dental situation. We will help you determine if veneers are the right fit for you and help you come to an informed decision on what treatment you may wish to have.

In most cosmetic restoration cases, you will be a candidate for veneers as long as you are in good oral health and are not suffering from tooth decay or gum disease, which will need to be treated before you can move forward with veneers.

Why We Recommend Veneers

You may immediately think that you need a heavily detailed or difficult treatment when it comes to cosmetic restorations – but veneers are wonderful pieces of dental technology that can truly make a world of difference in your smile! They’re custom-made, practically invisible, and natural-looking – a great non-invasive solution to your needs!
